I'm just an ordinary girl who is used to be called as Gretta. The full name of Gretta is actually Margaretta Carolina. Does Carolina her surname or something like that? Hmmm... How can I explain this? This is kind a complicated story so better not to discuss it here. Hehehe. You may assume Carolina as my surname. :P
Gretta is now going to be a 20 years old not yet mature girl since she is really into animes and mangas specially Sailor Moon. She is also into figure skating so much. Unfortunately she can't improve her skills as good as when she was in her home country, Indonesia. She is also crazy of designs. Well this theme of her blog is designed by Leen (thanks for the cool skin)!!! She is a perfectionist. All the things she does have to be well done, and NOT half done (it's scary if I have to watch some blood on my meal!! (>,<)
She's now hardly studying architecture in the Netherlands. She speaks more Dutch than English nowadays - ever since she attends a Dutch university of appliances (Hogeschool van Amsterdam). She may not speak English fluently as before (or even her writing skill is becoming worse), but she can still understand what people are saying.

Saturday, January 30, 2010 12:50 AM
You may call me a cheater or whatever you want, but... It just had happened for about 1,5 year ago. A nice person had given me all these nice art materials. Which someday might be useful for me. *yeah it does just happen today. I mean, yesterday ;) i need some of these gifts for my training at school*
THE GIFTS ARE:
Van Gogh oil painting set!
Acrylic big tubes from Talens
I had no idea what this is. It might be some poster paint or watercolor. :)
Rembrandt Soft Pastels
Inside look!!! 90 pieces!!!
Aah wait!!! I got more of the Van Gogh oil paint tubes. *cheatzz*
This kind a coincidence was just happened when we (Wan King, Beeloo, Rok-ken, Chris and me) went to some art shop called Van Beek in Amsterdam. We went there to buy some material that needed for our coming trainings. New sketch book, new brushes, new ink, and some other things.
Unfortunately some stuffs weren't available there. Such as charcoal en soft pastels. Therefore we decided to go to another art shop called Vlieger, not too far from the previous shop (1 metro halte to waterlooplein en then for about 10 minutes walking from the metro station).
As we arrived there, we went upstairs and fortunately we could find the charcoal! I thought of selling some of them at school on monday if anyone needed that stuff. :p
Okay. We got the charcoal and I needed one more thing! The soft pastels. We asked if they had some kind of soft pastels sets instead of buying some colours per piece.
The man who worked there showed us the needed pastels. For a small one (contains 8 or 12 pieces) costed € 7,50. Aah I thought it can be bought. He told us to wait because he wanted to pick the key of the display window. When he went picking up the key, I was wondering at the other soft pastels above the one I needed. BANG!!! I saw something that feeled familiar to me. Rembrandt soft pastels! If I wasn't mistaken I also have that kind of pastel at home! The man was just popped up and I asked him directly if the pastels above were just the same soft pastels I needed and it was affirmative!!! Yay!!!! I didn't need to buy any soft pastels no more!!! Then we went to Kalverstraat to have some unlimited sushi!! (I had made a post before with my ice cream)
It was not 17.45 yet. We went to Kalvertoren first to take some look at GUESS shop. There was a 50% discount for the GUESS bags. I bought a new one!!! Here you can find the pictures under. :)
Nice nice!!! Hahhaa... I love iPhone and this application, BlogPress!!!
