I'm just an ordinary girl who is used to be called as Gretta. The full name of Gretta is actually Margaretta Carolina. Does Carolina her surname or something like that? Hmmm... How can I explain this? This is kind a complicated story so better not to discuss it here. Hehehe. You may assume Carolina as my surname. :P

Gretta is now going to be a 20 years old not yet mature girl since she is really into animes and mangas specially Sailor Moon. She is also into figure skating so much. Unfortunately she can't improve her skills as good as when she was in her home country, Indonesia. She is also crazy of designs. Well this theme of her blog is designed by Leen (thanks for the cool skin)!!! She is a perfectionist. All the things she does have to be well done, and NOT half done (it's scary if I have to watch some blood on my meal!! (>,<)

She's now hardly studying architecture in the Netherlands. She speaks more Dutch than English nowadays - ever since she attends a Dutch university of appliances (Hogeschool van Amsterdam). She may not speak English fluently as before (or even her writing skill is becoming worse), but she can still understand what people are saying.

The Outdoor Day in Maarssen
Sunday, August 24, 2008 12:54 PM
I arrived in Maarssen at 8.03am, and found a HvA student there. He was the boy whose jacket was green, that's why i could recognize him. We went to the bus stop, waited for other students who might come with another train. I took some pictures there with my holga and my lumix, yes, on that rainy day. They might think that i was a bit strange girl who walked around with a colorful-a-toy-like-camera. And moreover with a digicam too.

Anyway, I got on the bus then took a sit. Over 10 minutes we arrived at our destination and it seemed that we have to spend ourday in a 'made-by-human-beach' hahaha... We got into the 'outdoor inn' and had something to drink, coffee, tea, and cookies. Nice for me who hadn't had my breakfast. ahaha.

Speaking of which, after having our body filled with new 'energy' *from the cookies*, the group X, where i belong to, was merged with group W and we had to wear orange shirt as orange team. The good news is that I WAS NOT THE ONLY GIRL IN THE GROUP ANYMORE! hahahaha!!! finally there was another girl, a beautiful Moroccan girl called Dounia joined too!! hohoho!!

We played hard, worked hard that day! What a fun *hell* rainy day!
We had to compete other groups in different games. And all of those games included a BIG word. That's about BOUWEN or BUILDING. We had to build a raft, a tower and a catapult or slingshot. Every kind of game needed building skill. We gotta have a good teamwork to get everything done. and hell yeah. We did win 3 kind of games. The raft building, catapult building and volleyball game. Such nice work for the newcomers from HAVO or VWO or MBO.

I knew a little bit of this kind of teamwork, since i had experienced workin
g in a project group, whether it was just a small-and-only-language-group. We had to make such so-called colloquy before doing anything. It was much much better than directly did what was on everyone's mind. Everything was just like a pyramid right? But it's not a really big deal. We had just met each other. Lets just say, we didn't know anything before. One day we could know how to build a good teamwork, right??

Now. It's done when it was hardly raining and every games were called off by the docents. It seemed to be a pretty-dangerous if we keeped doing those games, especially the canoo game. We gotta row the canoo to a red ball in the middle of the lake and... IT WAS CRAZY TO DO IN A RAINY THUNDERY DAY! I was so happy no matter what when it was called off... fiuh~ *you may want to see how dangerous canooing on this lake*

That day i got 22 names and their emails and some of their mobile number. A quite nice approach huh? haahaha...

Yeah. I dont know what exactly are they thinking bout me. A strange-childish-foreign-student who always go with 2 cameras with her? How's my life going to be in the next 4 years? Only God knows. I just lay all of my life in His mighty hand.

gotta sleep rite now because tomorrow i gotta get up early.

Welterusten allemaal!!
